Donations are the most beloved of actions to Allah, the Almighty, who said in the Holy Quran: “They ask you, what is the matter with the alms? Say: It is for the parents, the near of kin, the orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer, and for those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and for those who spend in good deeds. And it is not for the rich among you, nor for the poor among you, but it is for those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and for those who spend in good deeds.”
