About the Association

The Poor's Corner Association for Social Services was established to help those in need in the Kingdom and its suburbs, including the needy, widows, orphans, and the elderly, due to the economic and social conditions experienced by the region as a result of political conflicts. The approval to establish the Poor's Corner Association was received on October 2, 2024, and it was registered under Associations Law No. 51 of 2008. The idea of establishment goes back to Hajj Ahmed Al-Zoubi, who was accompanied by a group of charitable people and lovers of humanitarian volunteer work. Their noble feeling towards the needy, widows, orphans, and the elderly led them to establish the first office of the association in Khalda, Amman. They laid the foundations and prepared the regulatory regulations and assistance programs to start work. This purpose expanded to move from the pastoral to the developmental stage to achieve the vision set by the founders and supporters since the establishment, in order to establish sustainable development for the country by implementing investment projects that would provide a permanent steady income, and its interest in the future of the beneficiary by getting them out of the circle of need and destitution by pushing them to be self-reliant, and providing them with a decent living by guiding, educating, and caring for their education, qualification, and employment.
